Cincinnati Children’s is a Level I Trauma Center and has one of busiest OR's in the nation. We average over 100 scheduled surgeries per weekday and treat patients from all 50 states, as well as over 50 countries. Our OR consists of: 27 standard suites, 2 Intervention Radiology suites, 1 Hybrid (OR + IR) suite, and Rosa / da Vinci robots. We are currently seeking surgical technicians for our Liberty and Burnet locations.

Surgical Technologist / Specialty Surgical Technologist
Assists in many operating room functions, including preparing the patient for surgery, ensuring the sterility of the operating room, operating equipment during surgery, and, in some instances, working as a surgical first assistant. Specialty Surgical Technologist requires completion of Main OR orientation and specialty service knowledge acquired through training in CTOR, Fetal, or Transplant.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate's degree from an accredited school for Surgical Technology or a related field
- Surgical Technologist certification within one year of hire
- Maintain Surgical Technologist certification through participation in continuing education
